We, as Pure Energy Elektrik Tedarik Anonim Şirketi (the “Company”), are aware of our responsibility and giving maximum priority to protection of your personal data. Personal data of our website and mobile application users are duly processed and strictly protected under Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (the "Law"). Protection of personal data, which is regulated as a constitutional right, is important for fundamental rights and freedoms.

With the full awareness of this responsibility and acting as a data controller, we take into account the legal obligations in the primary priority when processing personal data in accordance with the Law and other relevant legislation. For these reasons, we would like to explain the processing of your personal data and your rights arising from the Law hereunder. 

 

Personal Data and Processing of Personal Data

The concept of “personal data” includes all kinds of information about a specific or identifiable natural person. Name, surname, electronic e-mail address, phone number that shared by you with us are classified as personal data. Pure Energy collects your personal data when you share it directly with us.

The concept of “processing of personal data” means any action taken on the personal data such as collection, recording, storage, retention, classification, alteration, disclosure, transfer, preventing the use thereof, fully or partially through automatic means or non-automated means only for the process which is a part of any data registry system set out in the Law.

 

Purpose of Collecting and Processing of Personal Data

Your personal data may be collected by authorized company persons through orally, in writing and / or electronically and will be processed within the scope of the contract ("Contract") and contract negotiations you have made with Pure Energy. Accordingly, Pure Energy collects and processes your personal data for the purpose to services under the contract, to improve the quality of these services and to fulfil our legal obligations and to exercise our rights arising from the legislation in force, especially the Energy Market legislation.

 

Data Retention and Security

Personal data will be stored as long as the data processing purpose is valid. These limits will be respected if the data is required to be kept for reporting purposes, subject to legal deadlines and to public authorities regarding legal authorities. Your personal data will be deleted, destroyed or anonymized by us when the reasons for processing disappears. Necessary security measures are taken in order to protect the stored and recorded data, to prevent taken over by unauthorized persons and illegal use. 

 

Transfer of Personal Data

In order to carry out our business activities and provide quality service to you, personal data processed by Pure Energy in accordance with the law can be transfer to the business partners to receive support services within the framework of Articles 8 and 9 of the Law. Furthermore, your personal data may also be shared with competent courts and other governmental bodies and public entities for the performance of our legal duties and obligations. 

  

Rights Arising from The Law on Protection of Personal Data

Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, everyone, in connection with herself/himself, has the right to;

Request further information about processing,

Learn the purpose of processing of your personal data and whether personal data is being used consistently with the purpose, 

Know the third parties in the country or abroad to whom personal data is transferred,

Request rectification of personal data if processed incompletely or inaccurately, 

Request erasure or destruction of personal data,

Request notification of the rectification, erasure or destruction to the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,

Object to the processing, exclusively by automatic means of his personal data, which leads to an unfavourable consequence for you, 

Request compensation for the damage arising from the unlawful processing of your personal data by applying to the data controller, Pure Energy.
